My first Mazesoba experience and was enjoyable. Every single bite was umami. You get a free upsize, even when I didn’t choose this option, I feel utterly full after the experience. When you’re done with your noodles, there will be some meat and sauce left. You can order a rice (also free for Taiwan Mazesoba) to mix with the remaining sauce. End result will be a clean bowl.
As the place is small with limited seats, it can be packed and warm. The restaurant is designed for quick dine in only.
Cash, nets and QR payment mode only.
The rich umami flavors of their signature dish are truly unparalleled, leaving you with a satisfying symphony of textures and tastes.
The perfectly chewy noodles, generously topped with succulent pork, green onions, and a perfectly seasoned egg, create a harmonious bowl that's both comforting and exciting. The brothless style allows the ingredients to shine individually, showcasing the chef's meticulous attention to detail in every component.
The ambiance is simple yet authentic, providing a cozy space for a delightful dining experience. The staff's warm hospitality adds an extra layer to the overall satisfaction, making you feel like a welcomed guest in their culinary haven.
Whether you're a seasoned mazesoba enthusiast or a curious newcomer, this stall promises a gastronomic journey that's worth savoring. Prepare to be captivated by the artistry of Nagoya-style mazesoba right in the heart of Tanjong Pagar. A must-visit for any discerning food lover.
The vegetarian mazesoba is very nice !
The staff is so polite and kind it was so refreshing to not be met with the usual grumpiness like at other places around.
The atmosphere is cozy.
The highball is tasty.
The free flow barley tea is added bonus.
You can also try the chilled spicy tofu. It was very flavourful. Definitely coming back again!
Springy, chewy noodles with spicy minced pork. We like adding more vinegar to the noodles for a bit of a sour tang. Be sure to ask for "oimeshi" for an extra portion of rice to mix it up with the remaining sauce.
My all time favourite "dry ramen". A must try there. Noodles are of the right texture, not too soft nor hard. Always take the Mazesoba with Karaage. Trick is to mix it all up for 20sec to get the optimal flavours. Soup is tasty yet not salty. Max refills are only twice on the soup. Optional to upsize noodles at 0 cost(although) it seems all priced in. Karaage chicken is juicy and tender. Well worth it.
By far the best dry ramen of all in Singapore.
Do avoid coming during lunch hours on weekdays as there is always a snaking queue.
Downside is that they don't accept credit cards, only cash or paynow.
Was walking aimlessly and looking for a good meal, when I walked past this place and saw the happy faces of the diners. Had the grilled cheese mazsoba and my tummy is super happy. Even the soup is good.
Best mazesoba in town!
Sauce is perfect, it’s so unctuous and gao and the noodles are cooked to perfection (always go for the free upsize the noodles are SO GOOD)
Chicken karaage is sizeable and juicy and the pork chasu is tender and delicious. Hands down the best maze soba!
Only gripes are the soup (tasted like generic chicken rice soup) and the lack of AC in the shop but these don’t detract from the fact it’s the best maze soba shop around.
SLURP AWAY!
Expect queues for this eatery due to the limited seats. This is one of the mazesoba that appeals to my tastebuds. The soba portion is filling enough that I do not have room for rice to end the feast.
